What Happens At The Appointment?

  1. Health Questionnaire  Complete our health questionnaire and our trained clinicians will review it before your appointment. We ask you to submit your questionnaire at least 48 hours before your appointment.
  1. Ear Drops – Use oil ear drops for 2-3 days before your appointment to soften the ear wax. These are readily available at any pharmacy.
  1. Appointment We offer a mobile service and our trained team member will visit you for your appointment. We will listen to your health issues and recommend a suitable treatment based on your needs and symptoms.

We carry out an ear examination using a microscope and tiny camera to safely see inside your ear. We can show you photos of inside of your ear to point out the ear wax, this is optional if you prefer not to see. (If we find at this stage that you do not require ear wax removal you only pay the Examination Fee. If necessary we can refer you to GP with photos of your ear if you need different treatment). We use gentle microsuction techniques to safely and effectively remove ear wax while you relax. Most people find that this is a painless treatment. Ear wax removal takes approx 30 minutes and you are welcome to use the time to ask us any medical questions, have a chat or just enjoy some quiet ‘me time’.

  1. Follow Up After removal you should feel the benefits immediately. Usually one treatment is sufficient and we recommend returning if symptoms return although some people are more prone to ear wax build up and need regular appointments. All your records are held confidentially.
