Canopy Medical Services have provided ongoing first aid training over the last two years to the staff of Getjar, specialists in Reinforced Concrete Frame & Groundwork, and part of the Masterson Holdings Group.
Getjar have over 500 staff and contractors, whom we train at their HQ in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, covering a wide range of roles and disciplines. Teams have their own individual first aid requirements, from operating machinery, to working at heights, to driving vehicles.
Working with companies of this size allows us to provide a flexible, tailored first aid training service. These encompass initial three-day First Aid at Work courses and two-day re-qualification courses.
We train up to 12 people at a time to be cost-effective but are mindful that we should minimise impact on the course of business. So, we can offer the flexibility of courses on non-consecutive days to fit in with the team’s availability.
We’re pleased to say we have a 99% pass rate, this is partly due to being able to tailor courses to role-specific activities, such as working with harnesses.
